Basic info and show summary
This used to be every teenage girl's dream – riding horses. In this family drama on Nickelodeon this dream comes true for Kit, however in here case this is more of a nightmare. Ride premiered on January 30th, 2017. The production studios are Nickelodeon Productions, Buccaneer Media and Breakthrough Entertainment and the executive producers are Nat Abraham, Joan Lambur, Ira Levy and Tony Wood (Coronation Street, Hollyoaks). Director Stefan Scaini was also involved with Heartland.
Ride tells the story of an American girl named Katherine Bridges, who calls herself Kit and who has to travel across the ocean to attend a very posh school in Great Britain – one that involves horse-riding – which Kit is terrified of. Needless to say that this series is packed with cute school romances, horses, drama and more horses. One of them forms a special bond with Kit and helps her overcome her fear. Kendra Leigh Timmins stars as the main character Kit, Alana Boden as Elaine Wilshire and Johnny Gray as Josh Luders, as well as Mike Shara, Sara Botsford and Natalie Lisinska.
