Production info and concept
WE tv is not passing up the popular paranormal series trend, and has launched a new series, Ghosts in the Hood, on January 5, 2017. The six one-hour episodes are executive produced by Mike Odair and Todd Hurvitz and hail from Gurney Productions.
A group of ghost hunters, Official Paranormal Operations, is actively investigating paranormal phenomenon throughout LA. There is a bit of comedy mixed into these explorations, with two cases featured per episode. The crew is comprised of company CEO Defecia Stoglin, medium Jasmine Orpilla, tech expert Dave Purdy, comedian Matty Richards and researcher Maunda Oyin.
