The American television drama Shut Eye kicked off its second installment on December 6th, 2017 with ten brand new episodes on streaming giant Hulu. Set in L.A., the original series follows Charlie Haverford (Jeffrey Donovan), who is a failed magician that now poses as a psychic and cons people out of their money. When he gets seriously injured, he actually starts having real visions, which in turn forces him to change his life. The dark humor is mostly set straight by the dark drama overshadowing the show. The second season starts off after Drina and Lil’ Tony’s wedding with Charlie and Linda considering their options. Overall approval ratings are generally very strong with 7.4/10 stars on IMDb and although Rotten Tomatoes gives it a rating of just 38% - the user score says that 86% of members like the show.
