Esquire Network is beefing up its automotive programming slate with a new motorcycle building competition series Wrench Against the Machine. It hails from Coolfire Studios and is executive produced by Jeff Keane, David Johnson, Steve Luebbert, Tim Breitbach, Aaron Bowden and Adam Vetri. The freshman season debuted on November 15, 2016.
Wrench Against the Machine is the first motorcycle-themed series on Esquire, a network that is geared toward the upscale male audience. The program is hosted by Dani Pajak and Brian Schaffran, and is a showcase competition for world-class motorbike builders. They are judged at the end of each episode on the basis of design skills, creativity and craftsmanship. The judge panel is comprised of Michael “Woolie” Woolaway (US director of motorcycle design for Deus Ex Machina), Alan Stulberg (Revival Cycles and Handbuilt Motorcycle Show) and Roland Sands (Roland Sands Design).
