UPDATED June 11 17, 2018: TBS has opted not give a third-season renewal to its summer series People of Earth, the network’s supernatural-tinged comedy. Creator David Jenkins tipped the news last night on Twitter, and the move comes after the network had initially renewed it in the fall along with fellow summer series Wrecked and The Guest Book. (Source: deadline.com)

Those other two idiot shows get renewed but NOT People of Earth? [censored] you, TBS! I already barely watch you as it is, but now I will do so even less! Maybe even not at all! Depends on, you know, what's on tv. But someone needs to pick this show back up because there's no good reason it should be canceled!

TBS said it was renewed along with wrecked and the cabin, season 3 was written and ready to go so what happened? Did TBS change their mind or what? It would be nice to have it explained to all the fans......... Well, hopefully another network will pick it up, it was a good show...BOO on TBS

There was a tv show about a guardian angel (played by a lady with the 1st name 'Jaime' but I forget her last name) who had an attitude but she still guided her charge toward one redemption or another; then there was a tv show called Lucifer...even though both were cancelled, guess which one was cancelled first. . ...yu u u up, the one about the angell....smh

best to watch it live if possible. Sling and hulu only show the first 5 (of 10) episodes of season 1, and only 6-10 of season 2 ! So thereis a large chunk f 10 episodes in between that they make you pay to watch them. WHAT A SCAM! Isn’t that what we’re paying the monthly fee for? For full season episodes?
Makes me want to cancel those services, because of the way they D*CK you around!

I am so mad they cancelled this show. There was FINALLY a funny, well-written comedy on TV and they have to go AND CANCEL IT!!!! I'm glad I have the last episode still on my DVR so I can enjoy watching Jeff run away from that dog..................

This show is just the best! Belly laughs galore. This show has real humor. I am so happy there will be a season 3.

I am disabled & unable to go out much. Shows like this lift the cloud of depression I am often under and the sun shines through.

People of Earth is just hilarious. Jeff is awesome. I seldom get "belly laughs" from run of the mill comedies, but this show has me laughing hysterically. I am so happy it is returning.

? love the show ? not such a big fan of the wait for season 3 annoncements. It is rare for a show to step outside of mainstream direction without conveying a dark or sinister undercurrent. There is something refreshing about People of Earth, it's is somehow uplifting, like a best mate for the inner child... who is turning blue, and about to pass out holding their breath for another season ?

? The first season was great! I really looked forward to watching the second. However, right from the beginning you could tell the show was heading towards "jumping the shark". Just like "Happy Days" there was no explanation as to where the "farmer"character was, (Richard's big brother) and more importantly the "wacky and over zealous" FBI agent would soon be taking the smart and funny show out to jump a shark. The second season was absolutely horrible. Now the show does not have a main character, but instead has a bunch of smaller character. To make matters worse, the writers added a "twin sister" who is even more outrageous. I mean The Simpsons waited 8 seasons before it started becoming lazy. You need to have a few more good seasons before you can show contempt for your audience.

I disagree big time. I love Agent Foster -- her singing "Tomorrow" from Annie was priceless. Don and Kelly got closer, so did Jerry and Yvonne. Even Richard fell for Nancy and seems to believe she's a real girlfriend, of sorts. Doug and Chelsea. Lots of love in the air.
I do miss Ozzie, but I'm hopeful he will show up again in season 3. Kurt came back to life, after all.
