Series' plot and production info

No Activity is a comedy television series available on Stan, and is the first ever Australian original series to be commissioned by an Aussie streaming service. It is written and directed by Trent O'Donnell, executive produced by Jason Burrows and produced by Jungleboys. The series debuted in 2015, and a year later, on October 26, 2016, the second series came out. Both seasons are comprised of six half-hour episodes.

The series' storyline revolves around two detectives on a lengthy stakeout, two peripheral players during a major sting operation. Most of the action comes from the aimless hilarious conversations between Patrick Brammall and Darren Gilshenan, who star as detectives Hendy and Stokes. The huge amphetamine shipment that everyone (both criminals and police officers) are expecting just never seems to reach its destination. The cast is rounded off by Genevieve Morris, Harriet Dyer, David Field and Dan Wyllie.

Excellent reception and renewal prospects

No Activity has been overwhelmingly well-received, in fact, it is the first original SVOD series to ever be nominated for a Logie Award. Critics and viewers complement it on being very funny – seems like a basic thing that may not be worth mentioning, but we know that comedies don't always manage to make the audience laugh. The comedy series has an 8.1/10 IMDb score, which denotes great viewer interest and appreciation. There's been no word from the network regarding the third series of this fan-favorite show, but we're almost sure that Stan will not disappoint its fans and will not cancel No Activity.
