About the show
Celebrity Storage Hunters UK is a spinoff of the hit reality series Storage Hunters UK, which, in turn, is adapted from the US series Storage Hunters that aired in 2011-2013. It was commissioned by Dave network on the heels of the success of the one-off celebrity Christmas special in 2015, and is comprised of five one-hour episodes. The series hails from T Group Productions and is fronted once again by experienced auctioneer Sean Kelly and executive produced by Helen Nightingale.
The series follows the same format as the original show, the only difference being that instead of the take-home cash prize the money that the participants win will go to a charity of their choice. The fierce competition and fast-paced action continues with a mix of familiar faces – comedians, stars and television personalities participate in this fun contest and bid blindly on mysterious containers.
