About the series
The Lodge is a British musical teen drama that debuted on October 17, 2016 on Disney Channel in the United States after the original premiere on Disney networks in the UK, Ireland and Canada in September 2016. It is based on the Israeli series North Star, produced by Zodiak Kids Studios and executive produced by Steven Andrew. Season 2 kicked off on June 9th, 2017.
When 15 year-old Skye and her dad move from a metropolitan area to a village in Northern Ireland to run the North Star Lodge Hotel that was previously in the hands of Skye's grandfather, life changes drastically for the young teenager. Skye's transition to her new life, her attempts to find new friends among the teenagers working at the hotel, and to adjust to a very different lifestyle are at the core of the plot. When she discovers that certain people have questionable intentions in regard to their hotel, she tries to convince her father not to sell it and thus the fight for its future begins.
