A breakthrough BET comedy reality docu-series, The Gary Owen Show premiered on October 11, 2016. The show is executive produced by Gary Owen, Brian Sher, Gil Goldstein, Jeff Jenkins, Stella Bulochnikov and TIP “T.I.” Harris, and hails from Bunim-Murray Productions. Owen became the first ever white program host on BET after co-starring in Ride Alnog, Meet the Blacks and the Think Like a Man films.
Cincinnati, Ohio native Gary Owen, dubbed “Black America's Favorite White Comic”, and his offbeat multiracial blended family are at the focus of this show. Gary loves his wife Kenya Duke deeply, and is planning a vow renewal ceremony, which is really quite a feat to organize and fit into the busy schedule of his hilarious and quirky family that is raising three very energetic children – daughter Kennedy and two sons – Emilio and Austin.
