BET's fall 2016 lineup includes a number of curious original reality series, one of which is Ink, Paper, Scissors, which premiered on October 11, 2016. It is an in-house BET Networks production and is executive produced by Jenny Daly, Rob Lobl, Glenn Carrano and co-executive produced by Ester Frank, Princess Banton-Lofters, and Ramsey Shepard. The freshman season contains eight one-hour episodes.
The series details the everyday operations of Atlanta Salon Ramsey, owned by Ramsey Shepherd. The concept of Atlanta's biggest one-stop salon is to bring outstanding hairstylists, tattoo artists and nail technicians under one roof without pushing them too hard and micro-managing their activities. The result is an outrageous crew, with over 100 competitive, creative and talented masters of their trade at 5 locations.
