My Kitchen Rules UK Series 3 Officially Cancelled by Channel 4

About the series

On October 3rd, 2016 Britain’s Channel 4 launched a second attempt at adapting the Australian reality hit cooking competition format My Kitchen Rules, which has consistently held the top spot on the ratings charts down under. The the British version of the show had aired on Sky Living in 2014 and was broadcast for just one series, before being picked up by Channel 4 in 2016 and is now broadcast as My Kitchen Rules UK. The first chapter contained thirty 60-minute episodes, whilst the second series kicked off on September 25th, 2017. The show is produced by Birmingham-based 7 Wonder Productions, executive produced by Eve Kay and hosted by Steve Jones.

16 pairs of amateur cooks set out to prove that their skills are on par with restaurant standards by creating thematic pop up restaurants right in their houses. They compete for a £10,000 grand prize. The UK’s most acclaimed chefs, renowned cooks and culinary authors serve as judges and in the current series they are Glynn Purnell and Rachel Allen.
