Just finished Season 5 and gutted that it’s over. Who makes these decisions. Ask what the viewers want as it needs another season to properly end. Like everyone wants Hugh and Penny together

This was a fun show.

It was interesting how we liked the characters, who also made us feel uncomfortable, as they sputtered through life, in and out of Whyhope.
Sorry to see it end but I get that every show has a time to end.

I will say, this American couple enjoyed the show, despite its shallow stories and awkward moments. Cudos to the Aussie network for bringing us a show that didn't make us cringe with foul language, sex scenes and violence.

Love this show. Why does AUSTRALIA TV cancel the good shows? This one and 800 Words which was fantastic! I don’t get it!? Seems like bad decision making.

I wish this show would back. I agree with everyone that this was a good show with wonderful actors. The stories are so gripping, and made me want to watch another and another. Please bring it back.

So very sorry to see this show end. Intelligent, quirky with memorable characters. I'm puzzled why the plug was pulled in the middle of the last episode - it was obvious several new story arcs had begun and then suddenly snuffed. I'll miss all the folks of Whyhope (the name alone!). From Washington State.

Yes, a very rushed last episode indeed, such a shame as there was clearely many promising story line possiilities for exciting future episodes. If you are in need of ideas, you know where to find me.

Fantastic show. My wife and I watched all of the seasons. We are sorry that it cannot go on forever, but will try and follow the cast members. Thanks to all who made this series.

I LOVE this show. Season 5 was fantastic, but I'm absolutely crushed there won't be anymore. I can understand it though. A lot of shows drag on for years past the point where it's still good. This one left off right where it needed to I think. This is definitely one of my favorite international imports!!!

Found this on Acorn TV in Canada. A great show, good acting and plot lines. Binge watched all 3 series so far and watching closely for Season 4 to appear. Have fallen in love with beautiful and talented actress Haley McElhinney. The show has similar tone and quality as with other OZ/NZ show 800 Words, which I also really liked.

I loved the first 2 seasons but the death of Jim and the increased personality changes of the cast has left the show unbalanced. Season 3 was a bust for me. Jim and Meryl were so good together. Sad.

We watch this on Acorn and just finished season 3. I'm glad to see there will be a season 4. Will Acorn snatch this up soon as it is available, even if we only get it one episode at a time?

Thoroughly enjoy The Heart Guy (Doctor Doctor). The characters are well developed, the plots very interesting, and the Australian backdrop is stunning. This show needs to be seen in America. In my view, this is the best show on Acorn, and I will continue my subscription as long as new episodes of this terrific show are forthcoming. I recommend this show to all of my friends.

LOVED The Heart Guy. I ordered ACORN just to binge watch it this past weekend. This is quality programing and wonder how long we will have to wait for season 4? Keep them coming.

❤ Highly enjoyable quirky show, with well-developed characters. Surely you'll renew for a Season 4? So much still left to cover...that season will probably end it then but what a great run! Hope everyone's available...difficult times these days--people need some escape. ❤

❤ I love the characters in this series, not one of them is perfect, witch makes it so good. I hope enough people mail in to keep it alive. I found it on acorn, best tv in the world on acorn. thanks and please bring it back. ☺

Just came across this on sky, and became addicted i ended up watching all 10 episodes of series 1 on UK tv play so I didn't have to wait weekly.?. But unfortunately there was no series 2 on there, I'm not Australian but I do watch a lot of American series so i had to trail the internet untill i found a site that showed it. found it and became addicted again.? i love love the show it is so funny and you can't help but fall in love with the bad boy hugh, which really is just a cover for how he really is. I'm just gutted i have to wait for season 3 I only hope and pray they renew it!!!.
