Sacred Steel Bikes Will Not Be Back with Season 2

Discovery is cranking up its popular Motor Mondays lineup with a new reality show. Sacred Steel Bikes is a series that features enthusiast Jason Wilson and his crew of mechanics producing exclusive customized high-end motorbikes at their garage. The show is produced by Half Yard Productions with Sean Gallagher, Abby Greensfelder, John Jones, Craig Coffman, Christo Doyle and John Slaughter serving as executive producers. The first season was launched on September 12, 2016.

Sacred Steel Customs was the original garage founded by James Wilson, and a decade later, one of the most unique bike shops in the world, Douche Larouche was opened. The mechanics who call themselves “motorcycle dorks” restore and customize dozens of bikes a year at their club-like institution. The action is truly adrenaline-fueled at the garage where a motley crew of artisans from all walks of life dedicate their time to their greatest passion – motor bikes.

Viewership and renewal prospects

The series premiere attracted an audience of 0.836 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The second episode the following week aired with ratings just as strong – 0.784 million viewers and a 0.32 demo rating. The guys are certainly full of character, and the wild fun they are having while doing what they love best is a magnet for the hardcore Motor Mondays fans.
