Show format and production info

A new American reality series, Finding Price Charming, debuted on Logo on September 8, 2016. It is the first dating show in the history of television featuring exclusively gay participants. It hails from Brian Graden Media and is executive produced by Brian Graden, Dave Mace, Fred Birckhead, Nick Murray, Chris McCarthy, Pamela Post and Stevenson Greene. Pop singer Lance Bass is the host of the show.

The format of the show follows that of The Bachelor, with an attractive bachelor, black tie ceremonies replacing rose ceremonies and other familiar attributes. This season Robert Sepúlveda Jr., an Atlanta native and renowned interior designer is the man at the heart of the show. Thirteen men stay in a mansion together along with Prince Charming, and their search for true love entails solo and group dates, and via progressive elimination Prince Charming will attempt to choose the suitor who may be the one.

I think canceling viewing of a gay nature is just another form of discrimination against our community if you ask me. Visibility is necessary and these companies tend to hide behind ratings as an excuse of why this show was canceled. I think gay programming has proven itself time and time again to be something even straight audiences are interested in. This was a good show and a wonderful way of teaching the world about how love ultimately is love. Because same sex dating is filled with exactly the same level of emotion and anguish as the straight dating scene. This show was a good tool to teach gay teenager's about the dating process which we unfortunately do not start off experiencing as naturally as straight people do because we are in most cases closeted and afraid. So our dating life starts off being hidden. JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Is this show going to come back on or is it cancelled? It says renewed but that was in 2016.
