A new US reality series Jim & Chrissy: Vow or Never features Chrissy Lampkin and rapper Jim Jones, originally of Love and Hip Hop: New York. The couple already had their own reality series Chrissy & Mr. Jones, which ran in 2012-2013. Three years after its conclusion, WE tv launched another inside look at their lives. Ish Entertainment is behind the production, with Thomas Jaeger, Jim Jones, Michael Hirschorn, Charles Suitt, Christine Lampkin and Melissa Cooper executive producing.
Jim has become notorious for his troubles with commitment in his relationship, even though he and Chrissy have been together for over ten years. Now they are finally getting close to the point of getting hitched, and Jim suggests that their wedding should be broadcast live on television. Their preparations for the big day are documented, with all the joyful, awkward and difficult moments along the way. Jim’s mother Nancy has a special place in the series as one of the main sources of drama, and she pays an unexpected visit to Miami, where the couple now resides.
