Series info and plot
The Collection is a new period drama series, and the first UK original series ever commissioned by Amazon. The series is written by Richard Goldstick (Pretty Little Liars, Ugly Betty), and executive produced by Oliver Goldstick, Simon Vaughn, Kate Groff and Anne Thomopoulos. Lookout Point is behind the production of the series, which began streaming the first of its eight 60-minute episodes on Amazon on September 2, 2016.
Set in the recovering French haute couture world in the post-WWII times, The Collection focuses on the Sabine family who are motivated to resurrect their couture empire. Post-war Paris is the setting for political affairs intertwining with the business interests of the war-scarred family, and the sinister undercurrents of the glamorous world are exposed in a clear and sophisticated way. This is both a family story, and the narrative of European post-war revival told through the story of an entrepreneurial resurrection.

I came across the series and I am so disappointed that it ended at episode 7. I want more of this series. I loved every character and there was fabulous acting from the whole cast. This is a 10 star series and I wish they would finish this show. So many unanswered questions with none answered!!!
Drops Season 2 of The Collection from its Programming
This had everything!!!! Except an ending. I could have watched several seasons of THE COLLECTION! There is so much more that has gone unsaid. This was a very bad decision to cancel THE COLLECTION. What are the chances you will listen to so many comments and continue this wonderful series. I feel like I was reading the best book ever and someone tore out the last chapter. Fix this!
Hey this worked for other cancelled shows such as Le Femme Nikita with Peta Wilson. People wrote in and they did more episodes to bring it to a beautiful end!!!!

Shame on Amazon for not realizing what a diamond they had!!! Maybe if Amazon would have promoted this series, you would find that people like it.
