An unscripted American reality series, Cleveland Hustles debuted on CNBC on August 24, 2016. NBA legend LeBron James and Maverick Carter executive produce the show that hails from Magical Elves and Springhill Entertainment. Borin Bough is the presenter and LeBron James narrates the series.
The show is a new implementation of the panel investment format which has recently become very popular. A panel of financiers selected by James and Carter hears the aspiring entrepreneurs' pitches and decides on which projects to back. The hour-long episodes feature existing small businesses and their expansion plans. The first episodes featured bagel makers set off against a stylist, and a beekeeper facing off against a leather bag maker couple.
