Boasting an overall rating of a solid 7.4 out of 10 stars on IMDb, You Can Do Better certainly is up there with big ones. Since the shift in the network TruTV, comedy and unscripted series mainly aimed at an audience of millennials are at the forefront of the programming and that seems to work very well so far. As of today, TruTV has yet to officially announce the future of the show, but as the current season is not over yet, we still have a little bit of time before the question for another installment becomes more prominent. Show information and premise
You Can Do Better (formerly known as Lifescaping) is a new truTV comedy and reality series that premiered on August 23, 2016. The freshman season of the program, which is produced by Redtail Media, contains thirteen half-hour episodes. The series is hosted by author Matthew Latkiewicz and comedian Abbi Crutchfield. Season 2 premiered on July 11th, 2017 with brand new episodes.
You Can Do Better features a range of real-life skills that are supposed to be common knowledge, but somehow never are, because no one actually teaches them to people. When is lying the only way to respond to a situation? What’s a proper way to get a bartender’s attention? What are the secrets to a perfect road trip? Drinking, sex, hi-tech, finances, friendships, everyday things and more unusual subjects, nothing is off-limits to the pair of witty hosts. Comedy sketches and street interviews are part of this satirical, yet informative self-help series.
