Amazing Spaces: Shed of the Year is a British competition reality series that has been on the air since 2014. The most recent fourth series of the show debuted on Channel 4 on August 30th, 2017 with brand new projects. The program hails from the production company Plum Pictures and is executive produced by Stuart Cabb and Will Daws. George Clarke is the presenter and the judge panel consists of William Hardie, Laura Clark and Max Mc Murdo.
The popular show features various shed-like structures, some of which are way too elaborate to be called sheds — but they are for the show. The competition takes place in four categories — pubs and entertainment, workshops and studios, eco and unexpected, and unique and historic. The competitors come up with truly creative ideas and it's often difficult to award the prize to just one structure. The show features once again some crazy projects — from a huge green teapot and a mud shed to a shed built from wine bottles, a possibly haunted shed, one that rotates 360 degrees as well as a Scottish woodland stargazer, a wartime police station, a Tardis and a life-saving hedgehog rescue centre.
