Netflix is further expanding its fascinating documentary programming slate with Fearless, a new docu-series that was made available for streaming on August 19, 2016. Andrew Fried (Chef’s Table) is the showrunner behind the serialized program, which contains six episodes.
Fearless follows professional bull riders in Brazil, explores the background of this traditional sport, its contemporary culture and the PBR competitions on various levels – starting with Barretos in Sao Paolo and all the way up to PBR World Finals in Las Vegas. The show features both the personal and professional aspects of the pro rodeo riders’ lives, making their profiles more vivid and multi-dimensional. Another curious aspect of the show is its focus on the bulls as well as the riders, since the animals also have distinct personalities.
