Literally found this show this week on Netflix and binged the whole 4 seasons.

Only started watching this when it came on Netfix, prior to that I'd never heard of it (don't know how)

There isn't one [censored] episode in all 4 seasons, truly a great show that should never have been stopped.

Why do companies consistently do this? Obviously this wasn't a poor show, it made seasons, it made people laugh and it was set to become an English classic..! The only problem here was channel 4's ineptitude of marketing!

Bring it back C4!!!

Why add a cliff hanger like that and then cancel the show! It’s one of the best comedies for a long time and it seems that a lot of people love it, so why cancel. It’s getting you money and viewings isn’t it?

From the U.S., huge fan of Taskmaster, and I watched every single episode of Man Down. I absolutely love it! Greg Davies is an all-time comedy great. I would watch him [censored] in a bucket for 4 hours honestly. Please someone pick up season 5! Or come to the U.S.A Greg!!

Literally today, I just got done watching every episode of Man Down. I began watching the show in September 2021 and finished on November 6, 2021. I'm seeing a lot of 2021 comments on here so I'm happy to see that I'm not alone. It's probably because of this show being available to stream on Netflix (at least until November 29th in my country). Anyways, I watched Man Down during quarantine and it's a very funny and good show. I do agree with the other comments on here that the final episode of the show is rubbish because right after the credits there's a random time jump to 6 months later where the main character, Daniel "Dan" Davies, is shown to be trapped in jail and no explanation is given. They put that cliffhanger ending probably because they were hoping to have a Season 5 or Series 5 as they call it in Britain. But unfortunately the network refuses to make that happen for unexplained reasons. Great show, but fans seam to agree that the last scene is garbage and deserved better.

One of the best comedies I've seen in years, and I've been around a long time. Up there with One Foot In The Grave, Open all hours, Dads Army. Make another series or two. Australian loves British Comedies, best in the World

Channel 4 needs to renew Man Down series 5 and beyond. Greg Davies and the whole cast are amazing. As an American viewer I want to say thank you to the Brits for their comedy and drama supremacy. Most of the shows my wife and I watch are British. After discovering Greg Davies on 8 out of 10 Cats and Would I Lie he has been one of my favorites. Please consider renewing this great show.

Come on Channel 4 - this country needs Man Down series 5 and beyond. Omg during lockdown we have been re-watching the whole series and it’s so funny and we laughed until nothing came out! Greg Davies is a comic genius and has the ability to bring humour and light into our living rooms!

I hope there is a Season 5, Greg Davies is the funniest comedian I've seen in a long time. I watch everything he's in, loved his comedy special. The rest of the cast is stellar as well.

Simple! It's what those in the trade call a cliff-hanger ending! Even now (as of early Dec) months after production ended, Channel 4 hasn't given Greg Davies or the production team behind 'Man Down' any indication of whether there will be a Series 5. The '6 months later' Dan behind bars scenario is designed to make you, the viewer AND Channel 4 want to know what happens next. Worked, didn't it?!
