Original Sin: Sex is a brand new National Geographic documentary series that hails from World of Wonders Productions. It has premiered on July 10, 2016 with six one-hour episodes. Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell and Dan Partland serve as executive producers on the show.
The series takes a sweeping look at the last half-century in terms of the sexual revolution and its consequences on all aspects of life, including science, culture and politics across the globe. Issues such as sex robots, online sex, the concept of privacy, redefining the concept of gender, sex education, and many others are explored. Archival footage, animated bits and expert interviews, including one with the legendary Dr. Ruth Westheimer, now 87 years old, round out the picture.
