Series information and plot
A brand new children’s live-action sitcom Legendary Dudas has debuted on Nickelodeon on July 9, 2016. The series is created by Kevin Jacubowski, executive produced by Sharla Sumpter-Bridgett and produced by Sumpter Bridget Productions and Nickelodeon Productions. The freshman season contains six episodes.
Theodore Barnes and DeVlon Harris star as Sam and Tyler Duda, two tween brothers who are polar opposites in everything. When Sam skips a year in school, he ends up in the same homeroom as his older brother Tyler. This poses a lot of problems, as the two share a last name, a house and now homeroom, but that’s about all they have in common. They have to learn to work together in order to make it through middle school, and they will, with the help of their extraordinary friends.
Popularity and renewal potential
The series premiere drew an audience of one million viewers, and has been delivering approximately as many viewers for the first four episodes. The series has a 7.8/10 IMDb score and enjoys positive reviews. It is full of serious tween dilemmas, lovable characters, good laughs, and positive messages for the viewers. There’s been no mention of a second season of Legendary Dudas yet, but considering the strong ratings and solid reviews, a renewal seems very likely. Stay tuned, and we’ll update you on any important news.
