Production info and premise
American Tarzan is a new Discovery Channel survival reality series that was launched on July 6, 2016. The show is produced by Sharp Entertainment, narrated by Rocco Narva and executive produced by Dan Adler, Matt Sharp and Bradley Connell.
The all-new program features seven men and women attempting not only to survive in the wilderness on a remote Caribbean island, but to overcome natural challenges and conquer the space they are in. Four different terrains have to be traversed – coast, jungle, mountains and canyons. Nothing besides the simplest tools, self-reliance and strength are there to help the challengers, only one of whom will be crowned American Tarzan.
