Audience Network’s My Fighting Season is a sequel to The Fighting Season, both programs are created and executive produced by Ricky Schroder. It is a factual unscripted documentary series that provides an unprecedented, truly first-hand look at the United States war in Afghanistan. The program premiered on July 5, 2016.

Schroder has spent over 3 months with the American troops stationed in Afghanistan, and has gathered materials filmed by soldiers and officers, giving them an opportunity to tell their incredible stories, voice their opinions and concerns in their own words. The show is executive produced by John Paul DeJoria, Chris Long, Bart Peters, Jim Rabon and Ricky Schroder and produced by Peter Schroder Productions.

The series is compiled of footage provided by US servicemen abroad. It is a completely new and riveting account of the modern battlefield from the inside, and the reviewers seem to agree that this riveting program is the closest to experiencing the war in Afghanistan without actually going there.
