All good things will come to an end, sooner or later. Unfortunately, Longmire’s latest installment, which just kicked off on November 17th, 2017 will be the sixth and final season of this beloved series. This show has always had some very strong overall approval ratings and still boasts a whopping 8.3 out of 10 stars on IMDb, a decent 82% on Rotten Tomatoes, but with a user score of a solid 94%, and Metacritic’s 67% are very much overruled by the incredible user score of 9.2/10 of viewers literally loving the show. Longmire is not one of these loud, noisy, over-acted crime series overloaded with computer animation and insane action packages, but the show has very much earned its own fan base and viewership, who prefer a somewhat slower pace and some great acting. It will be sad to see Walt and his pals go, but he himself seems ready to finally hang up his head for good.
Series information and cast
The American criminal drama series Longmire originated on the A&E network, ran for three seasons between 2012 and 2014, was canceled and subsequently picked up by streaming giant Netflix, which renewed the show for overall six seasons. The most recent and final sixth season was officially released on November 17th, 2017 with brand new episodes. The show is based on Walt Longmire Mysteries, a popular book series authored by Craig Johnson and developed by John Coveny and Hunt Baldwin. The strong cast features Robert Taylor as Walt Longmire, Lou Diamond Philips as Henry Standing Bear, Cassidy Freeman as Cady and Bailey Chase as Connally. Netflix announced last year that the sixth season will also be the last.
The series is set in the fictional Absaroka County, Wyoming and portrays the professional and personal aspects of the lives of local police officers. Walt Longmire is the veteran county sheriff out of a classic Western – honest, charismatic, tough and straightforward. Vic Moretti is the sheriff’s deputy and a recent Philadelphia transplant, Henry Standing Bear is Walt’s best friend, a Cheyenne Indian owner of the local dive. Cady is Walt’s daughter who secretly dates deputy Branch Connally, a man who plans to challenge Walt’s plans for reelection as sheriff and whose methods are questionable, to say the least.Episodes

Well if things keep getting canceled on Netflix we should find a network that don’t want to cancel shows, when millions of fans tune in,..I hope another network will pick the show up and have 3 more seasons, that would teach Netflix a lesson,..if Netflix keeps messing up there won’t be no Netflix because there nothing good to watch on it,..all old movies and old shows!
In more ways than one,we need more programs like
Longmire to show us that there is more to this world
Than our everyday life in the big city’s,Life On the res. has it’s trouble’s like every place but it has it’s color and it’s beautiful ways of life...
So now Netflix has let us down! BOOOOOOO!?
