One thing that the police drama series 19-2 definitely has clearly going for it is the overwhelmingly high overall ratings, currently boasting a whopping 8.7 out of 10 stars and an even stronger 8.9 out of 10 stars on TV.com. There is no question that this television series is one of the very popular ones, which might be down to the fantastic cast of the show. Unfortunately, as it was already announced long before the start of the current fourth installment, season 4 will be the last and final season for this gripping police drama 19-2.
About the series
A French-Canadian police procedural drama series, which originally aired in French, 19-2 debuted in 2011 and ran until 2015. The show was subsequently adapted into a separate English-language series and has been on the air since 2014, with its current fourth season premiering on July 31st, 2017 on the Canadian network CTV. The drama hails from the production companies Echo Meda and Sphère Média Plus and is executive produced by Luc Chatêlain, Jocelyn Deschêenes, Jesse McKeown, Virginia Rankin, Bruce M.Smith, Saralo MacGregor, Greg Philips, Carolyn Newman and Josée Valée.
The series focuses on the relationship between two incompatible partners serving as patrol officers in Montreal – Ben Chartier (Jared Keeso) and Nick Barron (Adrian Holmes). There's plenty of action, as the members of the police squad carry out their duties, but the spotlight is on the two men and the way their mistrust and dislike of each other give way to respect, as their different backgrounds and contrasting outlooks on life slowly stop being an obstacle to true partnership.

Quality show, good actors, allowed connections with characters. Alot better than Chicago PD or the like.
