The very first episode of Famously Single attracted 571,000 viewers, however the season 2 premiere only managed to draw in 469,000 viewers and the numbers thereafter dropped to a mere 350,000 average. The overall ratings aren’t exactly out of this world either with an almost neutral score of just 5.9 out of 10 stars on IMDb, which is down by a few points from the previous year. It is questionable, if E! will keep this show on for a third run, seeing that the numbers are dwindling and they hadn’t been great to begin with. As of today, the network has yet to announce the future of Famously Single and a possible season 3.
Series' concept and info
Famously Single is an American reality TV series that debuted on E! on June 14, 2016. The show's produced by Irwin Entertainment and executive produced by John Irwin, Damian Sullivan and Alex Weresow. The show features eight single celebrities who move into one house together and attempt to find a solution to their lack of luck in romantic relationships. Season 2 premiered on June 25th, 2017 with brand new episodes.
The current season features reality TV personalities Tiffany Pollard, Dorothy Wang, Malika Haqq, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Chad Johnson, professional dancer Karina Smirnoff, fitness model David McIntosh and Brit Calum Best. Advising them is Dr. Darcy Sterling, a Relationship Expert and Psychotherapist, and Robert Mack is a Positive Psychology Expert and author of "Love from the Inside Out".
