I have seen both seasons of Marseille and they were very good. I enjoyed Season 2 even more than 1. I love France and go there often, particularly to the South of France. The acting in Marseille is exceptional--all of the characters. Please keep it alive. The teaser in the last episode of Season 2 makes a third season a must. LOVE MARSEILLE.

As could be expected, Depardieu is again unrivalled where his performance and acting is concerned. Physically he is almost repulsive, gross and hugely present, but yet... one cannot do anything else, but embrace this abrasive character of Robert Taro.

Excellent show, great music, acting outstanding, story line intriguing enough. Atmosphere very South of France. Not sure what the critics are on about France trying to be US style, what a joke, it was a great pleasure to watch

I thought Marseille was a very enjoyable series and the acting was superb. Gerard Depardieu is as usual just perfect for a role like this. Looking forward to series 2

Marseille has its flaws like most series, but the acting is superb and the story line is interesting and diversified in terms of politics, finances, delinquency, sins of the past, tragedies, and of course romance. the cause effect chain that rules life engages you. We also get views of that great city and want to visit it. Gerard, even overweight is still handsome.

I just binged watched this series over one weekend. Fantastic show, with lots of great acting and wonderful scenery. Gérard leads the cast with his usual acting prowess. Love him! Series deux soon merci lol :-)

Loved it! I thought the casting was amazing and lived the story line. Enjoyed the surprises in the plot and loved loved the beautiful shots of Marseille. Can't wait for season 2!!

Depardieu rocks. This is an amazing production. You need to be a bit more advanced in series in order to understand the true value of this production. Cast is great. Second season is a must have. Setting and characters amazingly well chosen. Acting superb. Some small glitches, which I am sure will improve in the upcoming seasons. Critics, who expect everything to be perfect, good luck.
