Storyline, info and cast
On April 15, 2016 Sky1 has released a new criminal drama series The Five, created by acclaimed American author Harlan Coben. The series hails from Red Picture Company and is executive produced by Coben, Jonathan Leather, Danny Brocklehurst and Nicola Shindler. The first series is comprised of 10 episodes that air on a weekly basis.
The storyline revolves around the disappearance of Jesse, the younger brother of Mark (Tom Cullen). Mark, in turn, is one of the four friends who are The Five's lead characters – besides Mark, there are Danny (O.T.Fagbenie), Slade (Lee Ingleby) and Pru (Sarah Solemani). Fast forward twenty years from the time of Jesse's disappearance, and we see Danny become a police detective, who discovers the missing boy's DNA at a murder scene. The plot goes to reveal everyone's sordid secrets from the past as the search for Jesse takes the characters to places that they might not want to go.
