Series concept and cast
Operation Build is a US home improvement reality show. It originally debuted on History Channel in 2014, and is currently broadcast of FYI. The series is presently in its third season which has premiered on March 19, 2016. Lysa Liemer is the executive producer and Insight Television Productions, LLC is the company behind the series.
Alexi Panos hosts the series with co-hosts construction manager Andrew Dan-Jumbo and designer Alena Capra. Thy travel across the United States searching for interesting home improvement concepts. There is a historical aspect to the series, as well as reality show features along with, obviously, the central DIY home renovation concept. Each episode is devoted to one project which has to be completed under a tight deadline. Sometimes Alexis and her team have to finish a certain renovation in preparation for a big family event, sometimes a remodel that turned into a disaster has to be saved.
