"60 Days In" is a reality television series that premiered on A&E Network in March 2016. The show follows a group of volunteers who go undercover as inmates in various correctional facilities across the United States for 60 days.
The participants, who are from diverse backgrounds and have no criminal history, are given cover stories and are housed among the general population in the facilities. They must navigate the harsh realities of life behind bars, including violence, gang activity, and inmate politics. The participants are monitored by the show's production team and are provided with support from law enforcement officials and mental health professionals.
The goal of the show is to provide an inside look into the challenges faced by inmates and the correctional system, as well as to identify potential areas for improvement. The participants are encouraged to gather information and report back to the show's producers on their experiences and observations.
"60 Days In" has been praised for its unique and compelling premise, as well as its ability to shed light on the often-overlooked issues within the American correctional system. However, the show has also faced criticism for potentially endangering the safety of participants and for the ethical concerns surrounding the use of undercover tactics in reality television.
The show has aired over six seasons, with each season featuring a different group of volunteers and correctional facilities. It has also inspired similar shows in the reality television genre, including "Behind Bars: Rookie Year" and "Life Inside Jail: Hell on Earth."

2. Jeff is a [censored]
3. Tami is a dyke [censored]
4. I wish Zack spit on both Robert and Jeff
5. Robert and Jeff are probably gay for eachother
6. I would love to spend 24 hours with Barbra...I would do all kinds of sexual things with her. She makes my [censored] so hard.
That was definitely lost in Season 3. I liked Season 3, but I was at the edge of my seat and couldn't wait to see what would happen next in Seasons 1 & 2. It also seemed like the Sheriff was more involved in the first 2 seasons as well.

Jail is NOT a country club or a vacation & you felt that there was no challenge to it. Maybe if you weren't so scared to go back to the pod you might have seen what it was really like.
I wholeheartedly agree. I myself have been incarcerated a few times. I like the way that the smart ones on the show figured out to A. mind there own business and B. Show basic respect to others. Those two things will take you far when you're locked up.
Had Robert been locked up any of the places I was locked up, he would have been beaten down and then probably turned out.
