They'd been 'separated' for 17 years', & when she got 'lovey-dovey' with him, after he was shown the whipping marks on her back, he pushed her away saying, 'we can't do this'...........
That's the only way he & Jean's relationship can move forward.
Just a thought..............
Pray that another network picks it up to continue this amazing story...
We need more of Dr Blake. A lot more!
A good character study and you get to feel for the characters. It sure beats the violent gun slinging US shows. It's more cerebral in that regard. I will like to see how the relationship between Lucien and Jean develops.
