Summary and plot
Preachers of Detroit is a reality TV show that features seven of Detroit’s mega pastors. Based on the popular franchise called Preachers of L.A., the series delves into the personal and professional lives of men and women of faith. Season 1 premiered on Oxygen on February 20, 2015 and quickly became the network’s most watched freshman series ever.
Sharing their transformations and triumphs in and out of the pulpit, the Preachers of Detroit feature Minister Ditrick Haddon as he returns to his hometown to reunite with his family and help strengthen the community. Bishop Charles Ellis, Pastor David Bullock, Evangelist Dorinda Clark-Cole, Pastor Don Shelby, Bishop Corletta Vaughn, Bishop-elect Clarence Langston, and Pastor Tim Alden round out the cast of strong and resilient reality characters. In addition to the weekly episodes, audiences hd the chance to watch bonus footage and interviews with the preachers just before the premiere the February premiere.
