Bloodline is a Golden Globe-nominated and Primetime Emmy Award-winning American thriller and drama television series that is available exclusively on the online streaming service Netflix. The intense drama series is yet another triumphant addition to Netflix’s original programming. Bloodline was developed and created by Todd A. Kessler (The Sopranos), Glenn Kessler (Damages), and Daniel Zelman (Fool's Gold) who also serve as executive producers for the series and produced by Sony Pictures Television. Bloodline was first presented to the public on February 9, 2015, in the Berlinale Special Galas section of the 65th Berlin International Film Festival. Season 1 of Bloodline was launched in its entirety on Netflix on March 20, 2015, Season 2 was released in May of 2016 and the third and final season of the drama series premiered on May 26, 2017 on Netflix.
Storyline and cast
“We’re not bad people, but we did a bad thing,” is the tagline for Netflix’s original series Bloodline. The storyline of Bloodline revolves around a well-to-do Rayburn family who live in the Florida Keys where they own and operate a successful local hotel. The secrets and scars of adult Rayburn siblings are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home. Bloodline is intense and compelling. The drama series stars Sam Shepard as Robert Rayburn, the patriarch of the family; Sissy Spacek as Sally Rayburn, his wife; Kyle Chandler as John Rayburn, the second son, a county sheriff; Jacinda Barrett as Diana Rayburn, John's wife; Ben Mendelsohn as Danny Rayburn, the black sheep oldest son; Linda Cardellini as Meg Rayburn, the daughter, an attorney; Enrique Murciano as Marco Diaz, Meg's fiancé; Norbert Leo Butz as Kevin Rayburn, the hot-headed youngest son; Jamie McShane as Eric O'Bannon, Danny's friend, a parolee.
Third and final chapter
A highly-anticipated season 3 of Bloodline was made available to Netflix subscribers worldwide in its entirety, all 10 episodes, on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 12:01am ET/PT. Unfortunately (and it was announced before the premiere) this also became the final chapter for the drama series. In this particular case this was not due to poor viewership numbers or lack of critical acclaim – Bloodline managed to do very well on all fronts. In the case of this particular show, it had to end simply because the story has run its course. And it was a very intense and dramatic ending, no doubt. We particularly enjoyed John Rayburn’s hallucinations (visions) as he completely unravels under the burden of everything he has done and everything he knows. Kyle Chandler definitely deserves a handful of award nominations for his compelling portrayal of a man being crushed and punished by his own guilt. As much as it pains us, we have to bid farewell to this amazing drama series, yet we still hope that Netflix reconsiders and makes Season 4 of Bloodline.

THIS SHOW ROCKS THE HOUSE!
Characters chosen to play the parts were perfect. Did not like the ending but we are so excited Netflik is renewing Bloodline. Just can't wait.
WE CANT WAITFOR THE RELEASE AS THE ACTING IS ABSO;UTELY OVER THE TOP.
