Siblings is a British sitcom television series created and written by Keith Akushie, executive produced by Simon Wilson and Damon Beesley, and produced by Bwark Productions. It piloted on August 7, 2014 and is currently in its second season which was released on January 4, 2016 on BBC Three.

A series about a brother and sister pair that is very likely the most moronic, lazy, incompetent and selfish in the world. In each episode they wreak havoc and spoil everything they touch. Hannah (Charotte Ritchie) and Dan (Tom Stourton) are utterly unpleasant, just as almost everyone else on the series. They are the kind of people you'd never even want to see succeed – and they never do. Isn't that an evil gleeful pleasure to watch them get punished by karma for their spectacular idiocy, and never learning from anything? Admit it, it is.

Current season and renewal propsects

Siblings holds a 6.8/10 on IMDb and the reviews are mostly positive, siting the offbeat humor and excellent performances. There is definitely enough potential in the series to carry it on for at least another season. BBC Three, however, is undergoing a major change in its broadcast system as it moves completely online in February 2016. It's highly unclear how this transformation will change the programming policy and how the viewers will take this alteration. Will BBC Three shows have to find a new audience, or will their fans follow them online? With the situation in flux, predictions on either a renewal or a cancelation are unreliable, so stay tuned for official announcements from BBC Three.

UPDATED July 20, 2016: The world's most inept and most hilarious siblings will not be back for a third series, as BBC Three has canceled its Keith Akushie-created sitcom Siblings after two completed series. Perhaps the program did not manage to retain its audience after BBC Three's move online, and was no longer viable ratings-wise. In any case, we bid the show farewell, and are hoping that another network might pick it up, since the performances were superb and the offbeat sense of humor very satisfying. Stay tuned, since there's always a chance for a positive turn.
