Aidan Turner, who played Winston Graham's 18th century Cornish soldier, said he has no plans to return to the period drama, despite his Captain Ross Vennor Poldark promising Demelza Poldark (Eleanor Tomlinson) he would return at the end of season 5. (Source: radiotimes.com)

It would be great to have Poldark continue past season 5. The series is interesting and done very well.

The beautiful photography of Cornwall and surrounding area is so awesome. And the verisimilitude of the characters draws me into the story. These are all amazing actors/actresses and chemistries. Thankful for the beginnings of season 5. Makes me miss England so much and another time and space.

Let's hope that in South Africa we don't have to wait too long for Series 5. My wife and I really enjoy watching Poldark and look forward to another great Series.

This is in regards too Poldark returning in 2019, hope they keep this show going for a few more years. So many different story lines to go into, great acting and LOVE OUR CHANNEL 9, KBTC. :)

Why does it say here that season 4 episode 8 already aired on 7/29 at the top of this very page and also say that season 4 episode 1 will air on sept 30th?

I just hope we do not have to wait until mid-September like last year. It is especially hard when I know that BBC carries it on their station. I can understand them wanting to be first, but why can't we just wait one week instead of 3 months? I hope it does not come to that. It already seems like a decade since it was on. My dog likes Garrick, and he asked me when will Garrick be on TV again? I had to tell him I didn't know which did not set well with him. We are both hooked on Poldark. (Yes, I speak Australian Shepherd. Shiloh does not talk very much: only when his supper is late, he is ready to go to bed, and I am still up; he wines when he smells my food, and it does not match the food he was given.

I tried looking and it doesn’t show up, so not sure if it’s in the U.S. on June 10th. I even checked the 9th just in case. I tried searching and nothing shows up. ?

According to the latest news from PBS in the US, Poldark S4 is scheduled to begin on Sept 30th.
