Production info and plot

Tripped is a debut British comedy sci-fi television mini-series airing on E4. It's written by Jamie Mathieson, Harry Williams and Jack Williams, directed by Jamie Stone and produced by Mammoth Screen and Two Brothers Pictures.

The series starts off as the two long-time best buddies Danny (Blake Harrison) and Milo (George Webster) begin to part ways as Danny is about to marry his girlfriend Kate (Georgina Campbell), while Milo's plan is basically to continue getting high. As he keeps to his plan, in the midst of a particularly strong hallucinogenic experience he and an imagined version of his friend Danny set off on a fantasy quest in a parallel universe. They are chased by a dangerous being aiming to kill them as they meet alternative versions of themselves and engage in various other adventures, never quite sure whether they're still tripping or already home, safe and sound.

WTF??? How could they cancel the show in a cliffhanger. They could’ve at least made 1 more episode to tie it all up nicely. British tv critics are [censored]. All they care about are stupid talent shows & reality tv which is nothing like frigging reality. This is exactly why I don’t usually watch British tv shows cos all the good shows get axed. The last time I watched coronation street Ena Sharples was still alive & that was in the early 70s & yet it is still on British tv. TRIPPED DESERVED A SECOND SEASON. :( :( :(

It has lead the stars on to to far greater things, they'll probably not want to go back now. Would you go back to a lesser paid job? It's a shame but I wish them every success.

Just caught the first episode here in the states, and I'd like more, please. At least provide enough funding to wrap up the story line (i.e., perhaps another four shows??).

You have to bring this show back atleast! Anything remotely different from the modern, [censored]ty ass, mainstream, and it gets cancelled like that (vinyl) I'm so sick of cliffhangers leading to this point. Does anybody care about the fans anymore..? Why do tasteless critics have to ruin everything, to the point where NOBODY is happy? Maybe we should take to the streets, and punch any, and every critic there is for trying to suppress anything remotely different from the norm (exactly what they seem to want us to avoid) I am aware that my two favourite tv shows are in two different countries, but all these people seem to think the same. So get off your ass, turn off the tv (it's all [censored] anyway) and start getting inspired another way, our own way. These people obviously have zero taste anyway, so why do we waste our time and money on these [censored]s?

This series is the best since hitchhikers guide you should really make another number two series it is cult viewing brilliant and so in time . People will deffinatly hook on .just make more you will regret it if you don't .
