The good news is Miss Phryne Fisher is back on ABC.
The bad news is, the movie Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears will screen in two halves across two Sundays.
The film, which leant upon crowd-funding from fans, was released in early 2020.
After freeing a young Bedouin girl – Shirin Abbas – from her unjust imprisonment in Jerusalem, Miss Fisher begins to unravel a wartime mystery concerning a priceless jewel, ancient curses, and the truth behind the suspicious disappearance of Shirin’s forgotten tribe.

What I did discover, however were the books and they are just as good if not better. They are so descriptive that one can actually visualise the characters as you read. I have now in my collection 8 books and there are 22 of them. Some ore of the season episodes and some are titles that weren't used in the series.
Perhaps with the new Government here in Australia the A.B.C. might re-consider the fan requests and make further seasons. The previous govt. treated them badly with lack of funding, Fingers crossed.
You have a great show. You should do a 4th season your fans will always come back for more.
