Series info and plot

Did you miss having a tween girl superhero squad saving the world from evil time and time again right in front of your eyes? Don't fret, the first 20-episode run of the successful Japanese anime Smile PreCure! (produced by Toei Animation) is available for streaming on Netflix on December 18, 2015 with a new music score, theme song by Blush and music videos by the same girl group. The original anime was released in Japan in 2012 and has been very popular, as it is a part of the larger Pretty Cure franchise, a hit in Japan. The most recent 20-episode second season was made available for streaming on August 26, 2016.

Five schoolgirls in the magical kingdom of Jubiland find out that they are endowed with various superpowers, are recruited by a charming sheep pixie Candy and have to defend their world from the evil emperor who invaded it. The girls, Emily (Glitter Lucky), Kelsey (Glitter Sunny), Lily (Glitter Peace), April (Glitter Spring) and Chloe (Glitter Breeze) prove that true friendship is more powerful than anything. Laura Bailey, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Kate Higgins, Danielle Nicole, Alex Cazares and Debi Derryberry are among the series' voice cast.

Current season and chances of renewal

Saban Brands is distributing Glitter Force, and while the original Japanese series consist of 48 episodes, only 40 have been dubbed in English. Who knows, this might be just the beginning of the Pretty Cure franchise of over 500 episodes of pre-teen fun in various anime shows coming to our television screens. Netflix has been very successful in providing viewers with access to TV dramas and comedies, and is now breaking into the anime world. Whether or not other parts of the Pretty Cure franchise are also bound for Netflix is not yet known, so please stay tuned for relevant news.

Smile Precure is one of my favorite Precure Seasons. Am wishing that the producers and Netflix let us know about it's Third season and how things have happened since it's Second Season. Like what have the girls been since season 3. what is happening in jubiland and what special events will happen this time. With all of my excitement I want to start watching Smile Precure's Third season like immediately. So if you all are fans and want to watch a new season too then we should pray and support them so they can do their best to make it possible. It would mean so much to me if the series was renewed for a season three and possibly a season four. The anime and storyline is so good, and even the characters too. I don’t want any of that Doki Doki content continued, I want the original. Even if I have to wait for years, I’ll do it. We got that awesome iCarly reboot to happen, and got Netflix to publish a new Loud House movie, so I really think it’s worth it, (:

They skip 8 sreies n started Glitter Force which is Smile PreCure. It was 5 years old then. They removed episodes. They removed Yuri Undertones. Cancerous dub. So yeah. Toei revoked the rights from Saban and Netflix.

Since season 2 episode 20 "Friends Forever" ended with Nogo defeated, I wonder what obstacles season 3 has in store for the Glitter Force. I wish I can go back to the time when I first watched the 2 seasons for the first time!

I think 70 episodes is too much, I'd rather just hope that season 3 has no less than 40 episodes?! I wish that Netflix would've announced the GFS3 release date long ago, because then we'd only have to wait x amount of time for the release. Now we're waiting for the announcement, which means we'd have to wait double the amount of time for just one more season to come out. I wish they'd make season 3 and 4 come out at the same time!

Kid. U want to watch the real Glitter Force watch the subs of PreCure. U will see why Toei Animation Revoked Saban's and Netflix's rights. Any anime site online has Pretty Cure/PreCure/What y'all call Glitter Force. That first one is Smile PreCure. The 2nd one is Doki Doki PreCure. If u wanna watch beyond that u got PreCure Happiness Charge, Go! Princess PreCure, Mahou (Magical) Girls PreCure, PreCure A La Mode and the latest series Higtto! PreCure. Just go on KissAnime n watch the series there. N there more of the series before Glitter Force/Smile PreCure. The series been out 15 years. Accept it's not comming back to Netflix n watch it subbed on Kissanime

If there is a third season it will likely be using a different Precure series, so likely a new set of characters with a new name much like Saban did with the later power rangers series.

I'm fourteen and I LOVE Glitter Force! I usually like darker animes like Madoka Magica, Death Note, Attack On Titan, Etc. BUT I FREAKING LOVE GLITTER FORCE!
