The Last Alaskans is one of the best shows I have ever watched. Down to earth real life drama of how it is to live in the bush. All the families made you feel how they feel! We miss that show dearly. Hoping it comes back someday or at least a return of the family’s information on their whereabouts and the status of the ones that are still there. Beautiful and heartwarming stories that brought tears to our eyes from laughter to sometimes sad endings. Will it ever return? We will be waiting!!

Please continue this show: it left me wanting more … Charlie all alone I want to see him marry and get a family, I want to see if Scott and his family are doing well Colby loving it. I want to see the kids with new baby girl , have more kids and the dogs!!

Please bring back this wonderful show. It is by far the best Alaskan show out there and probably always will be. It was one of the first very simple, beautiful realism that you can find. You guys made a big mistake by canceling this show.

The best show ever not fair we let them come into our lives then take it away like loosing family members. I’m disgusted with Discovery how can we trust you to watch and grow close to another show

Please bring back The Last Alaskans! This was a great show! I've been watching the reruns, and for the life of me can not understand why you would cancel this wonderful show. I've watched all of the Alaska shows, and this one is by far the best. I watched this show from day one, and it's a shame there will be no more.

Last Alaskans was the Best show on TV. Non scripted, educational, wilderness scenery, and no fake unwanted Drama like you see on so many other shows. This show should be brought back.

Can't understand why it was taken off. It was the best show on TV. My husband & I have not watched the Discovery Channel since we found out the show was not coming back. What idiot decided to take it off???????????? Maybe a boycott of this channel is in order.

I agree with the 309 comments by folks who do NOT want this show to be discontinued. One of the best documentaries ever (don't insult it by referring to it as "just" a reality show). Moving nature photography, fascinating people, educational and sensitively entertaining.

Who are the idiots who decided to take this great series off the air. Last Alaskans is the best reality show on TV. On top of that you would leave a dump ass show like the Alaskan bush people. Little did the viewers know, the father was a millionaire!!! But wanted to live off grid. What a joke that show is. Bring the Last Alaskans back!!!!!!
