Storyline and cast
Satisfaction is a USA network drama series created by Sean Jablonsky and executive produced by Russ Krasnoff. The show originally premiered on July 17, 2014, and is currently in its second season.
Neil Truman (Matt Passmore), a financial expert and his wife Grace (Stephanie Szostak) go through a serious life and relationship crisis, which leads them to make rather unconventional choices. Neil finds his wife in bed with Simon (Blair Redford),a male escort, and consequently clandestinely decides to become an escort himself, as he was about to quit his job in any case. Frustrations of a seemingly happily married couple, the depths of a mid-life crisis and curious way of overcoming it and resurfacing, the far-from-straightforward correlation between passion and love, all of these issues come up as the couple discovers the world in unusual ways. Provocative, yet sensitive, Satisfaction offers a refreshing point-of-view on familiar problems.
The USA drama received generally positive reviews from the critics and viewers alike, although the viewer ratings as per the Nielsen Company have been decent, but not particularly amazing. Satisfaction seemed to strike a cord in many people's hearts, with the depicted marriage and identity problems certainly being easy to relate to. However, there has been no official word from the USA Network on either a renewal or a cancellation of the series. Will the viewing numbers be strong enough for the network to convince it to go ahead with the renewal?

Updated February 27, 2016: No more Satisfaction for the viewers. We have some unfortunate news if you're a fan – USA had canceled Satisfaction, its unconventionally themed drama series after two seasons. It comes as no surprise, however, after the second season had been moved to Friday nights. It was certainly no surprise for the series creator Sean Jablonsky, who has already moved on elsewhere.
