Basic info and plot
Kingdom is an American drama television series aired on the DirecTV's Audience Network since October 8, 2014. Season 2 followed with a doubled up amount of episodes split into two parts, which premiered on October 14th, 2015 and then continued after a long hiatus on June 1st, 2016 with the remaining episodes. Season 3 was then downsized to the original ten episodes and debuted on May 31st, 2017, but in April prior to its release, lead actor Jonathan Tucker had already announced via Twitter that this third installment will also be the last and final season for Kingdom. Created and executive produced by Byron Balasco, the show has already been broadcast in several South American countries, Canada, Australia, Sweden and New Zealand.
The show's storyline revolves around a family-owned Mixed Martial Arts gym in California. The series has a curious mixture of emotionally challenging relationships and downright gritty action. The men and the women in this cruel macho world have to be strong in more ways than one – and they certainly are. Everyone here has a history, everyone is tough - and most know what they want out of life. Tough gym owner and trainer Alvey Kulina (Frank Grillo) holds Navy Street together with help from his girlfriend Lisa Prince (Kiele Sanchez), a powerful and complex character. Ryan Wheeler (Matt Lauria), an ex-con and Lisa's ex-fiancee adds an edge to Alvey and Lisa's relationship as he trains in their gym. Alvey's ex-wife and two sons with their own variety of personal problems further add to the complexity of the situation. This is all before we even start to mention the blood, sweat and tears pouring offscreen as the fighting begins.
Overall ratings and no season 4
With great reviews and overall positive ratings, Kingdom was renewed for season 2 and 3 just 10 days into the very first chapter, which is a very promising start for any television series. The critics really have been raving about this gritty and complex drama for its incredible characters, intricate relationships and truly mesmerizing storylines. And with very solid ratings such as very strong 8.4 out of 10 stars on IMDb and a whopping 8.8 out of 10 on TV.com, one would think that this show will go on forever and ever… Unfortunately, Kingdom will not be renewed for a fourth season. One of the actors, Jonathan Tucker, announced the decision via Twitter and the Audience Network AT&T simultaneously confirmed this post. What is very much surprising in this case is the fact that no further information has been given as to why Kingdom was cancelled after the third season.

Our favorite show and just cannot find although it says online that 1st episode of season 3 premiered on June 1st.
