Pretty. Strong. is an American docu-series produced by Relativity Television and Ellen Rakieten Entertainment for the Oxygen network. The series follows an all-female football team as it pursuits a three-peat championship title. Pretty. Strong. Season 1 premiered on Oxygen on October 6, 2015.
American football is seen as a male-only sport, with all the injuries, the adrenaline and the physical strength that it represents. Until recently, the only women that played football on national television were models in bikinis, who mostly concentrated on showing off their bikinis, not their football skills. However, recently, there have been more and more professional, all-female football teams, and Chicago Bliss is one of them. Although the ladies of Chicago Bliss wear next to nothing on the field, they are fearless and driven to win. Their abs and pecks are those many men would be envious of, and their perseverance and team spirit prove that there is great potential in female football.
