Project Mc2 is a Netflix Original spy miniseries for teens written by Jordan Arkin, produced by Awesomeness TV, MGA Entertainment and Katlin/Bernstein Productions and executive produced by Shauna Phelan. Available exclusively on the on-demand streaming media provider, the series was initially launched on August 7th, 2015 fort its first season with just three half-hour episodes and has since been renewed for overall six seasons, with the latest installment kicking off on November 7th, 2017 with five brand new episodes.
Project Mc2 is a live action miniseries that follows four science-loving young girls who use their know-how to become secret agents. Camryn (Ysa Penarjo) and Bryden (Genneya Walton) are two of the smartest girls in school who join force with chief intelligence agent, The Quail, played by real-life math whiz Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years), as recruits into a spy program known as NOV8 (Innovate). Additionally the five girls are searching for the mastermind behind numerous 3T thefts. The show offers a good amount of goofy dialogue aimed at kids and pre-teens, but the science part gets a bit cartoony and unrealistic at times.

I don’t understand why people are complaining about the science ... obviously this show is not realistic! (Though I have to point out it is more realistic than say Disney Channel ? - I mean, a tattoo artist ACTUALLY ASKED FOR ID!! In any other “kids show” they would not. Let’s just say there is a big difference between this show and and a show like KC Undercover).
It is just supposed to get girls interested in science ... let them know they can be “girly-girls” AND have a brain. It isn’t supposed to teach actual science .
I can’t wait for more!
