Basic info and cast
The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show is a multiple Annie Award-winning US animated TV series that is available exclusively to Netflix subscribers around the world. The series is based on the short film segments titled “Peabody’s Improbable History”, a part of the 1960s “The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show”. Co-produced by DreamWorks Animation, Jay Ward Productions, DHX Media Vancouver and DWG Productions, the digitally hand-drawn series debuted on Netflix on October 9, 2015, and its most recent fourth season began streaming on Netflix on April 21, 2017.
The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show follows the world’s smartest dog and his boy as the duo that hosts a late night comedy show broadcast from their swanky Manhattan penthouse in front of a live studio audience. Hosting notable guests from bygone eras, including Mozart, Napoleon, Catherine the Great and Edgar Allan Poe, as part of their variety show, Mr. Peabody and Sherman embark on new adventures using their famous time-traveling WABAC machine. The series stars Chris Parnell (“Saturday Night Live”, “30 Rock”) as the voice of Mr. Peabody, and Max Charles (“American Sniper”) is behind Sherman’s character.
