Still waiting… and waiting, and waiting for new content on this show. When will WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? Be back!?? Come on! This is a great show. It hasn’t been the easiest to get to in order to view most of the time. Going from place to place to try and find viewing. Most often limited…. Why do they always take off/discontinue/cancel programming that’s actually decent? Informative, and interesting?! And companies wonder why viewers have gotten so reluctant to commit to programming anymore. YOU CANNOT COUNT ON ANYTHJNG ANYMORE! And it takes far too long, or there is way too much time in between release of new content anymore. So disappointing. BRING BACK DECENT PROGRAMMING THE WAY IT USED TO BE!!! Bring back WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!
I’m so excited to have just read that Who Do You Think You Are is coming back summer 2022!!!!!!!!!!??? I’m so looking forward to seeing new episodes. I also watch Finding Your Roots. I absolutely love watching shows on researching and learning family history. When I was much younger I said I wanted to reset my family’s history. I’ve been doing it for years now, but $ is tight and had to stop every now and then. I’d absolutely love a show where the average person like myself can get on and have their history done. My parents are 92 and 93 and they are really the only ones I have left that can answer my questions. I was amazed to find SO MANY people with the same names ex: my grandparents names and maiden name i the same country be the same as numerous other couples. That makes researching SO MUCH more difficult. Thank you again for bringing WDYTYA back for us regular folks!
So happy that wdytya is coming back! Great to have entertainment that iis educational as well. It inspired me and I am sure many others to become curious about their own ancestry. Finding your Roots is also a favorite, like how often show thru DNA who subject is related to long lost cousins etc.
I am thrilled to hear WDYTYA is returning in 2020! I hope there will be a lot more episodes each year as only having 4 episodes per year was simply not enough!
I would like to see a cross-over episode with Long Lost Family whereby an individual is reunited with a family he/she never knew on Long Lost Family and then that family discovers its roots on Who Do You Think You Are. Any chance we will see something like this?
I love WDYTYA please renew this show. It is the best show on TLC. I am interested in genealogy and would love to see a celebrity looking for his relatives in Italy, Especially in Southern Italy.
LOVE this show!! My sister and I watch this show every time it airs, no matter who the celebrity is they're doing, and have since the very first airing. My sister recently passed away from cancer so I'll be watching it alone now but will be thinking of her while I enjoy the show! Its so much fun to watch the celebrity's reactions to what they're told. Please keep this show on the air!
As a family genealogist I am envious at the resources available to the celebrities on WDYTYA, but could watch this show 24/7. Please keep it going! Thanks.
I was told my cousin is Albert Schweitzer. I have a lot of clues but the bombing of Austria-Hungary destroyed our records. I can go back to 1900 for Mom's side. I know nothing about my Dad's side(or very little ).
I REALLY ENJOY THE SHOW AND LEARN SO MUCH WHICH AIDS ME IN DOING MY ANCESTRY SEARCH. LITTLE HINTS ARE VERY HELPFUL AND I REALLY ENJOY SEEING OTHERS RECONNECT WITH THIER FAMILIES HISTORY. THE SHOW IS SO VERY INFORMATIVE AND INTERESTING. PLEASE KEEP IT ON AIR. MY SLF AND OTHER FRIENDS WATCH AND THEN DISCUSS THE SHOW.
I am so looking forward to a new season. I love watching each episode and hate when the season is over. More shows like this would be wonderful, and so helpful for those of us searching for your ancestors..
Loved this show when I had cable. Missed it when I "cut the cord" and found TLC was not offered on anything but cable subscriptions. Finally found a fairly inexpensive live stream service that carries TLC and now cannot wait until the upcoming season airs! Meanwhile, I'll be feeding my addiction to this show with available videos of previous episodes. Did I say I can't wait (heehee)?!
I hope it is not cancelled,we look forward to seeing this wonderful, interesting and educational show.We love how far back people can see where and what their ancestors were and did.
This is a great show and has provided my family with some tips on how to search for our family. I love the celebs ancestry search but would like to see them take it a step further to include a regular person.
I love the show and can't wait for the next season.
Hi, I would love to find my own genealogy. I am of Puerto Rican descent but my mom always told us that we also had Spanish in our bloodline. I have tried to get some more information on this part of my life but with no success. Thanks.
Hi Janet, saw your post on the WDYTYA page and just wanted to tell you that I understand there are genealogy groups in Miami that help with ancestry in the Caribbean. One of my ancestors came from Cuba and a relative got information (from the Miami group) that took our line back to Catalonia, Spain. You might try to see what you can find to get your Puerto Rican family back to Spain. Good luck!
