General information
Dinotrux is a Daytime Emmy Award-winning American computer-animated television series streaming on Netflix. The Original series is based on an illustrated children’s book by Chris Gall about a fictional prehistoric world inhabited by creatures that are part-dinosaurs and part-mechanical construction vehicles. Available worldwide to Netflix subscribers since its debut in August 2015, is produced by David Kidd and Ron Burch and has been renewed for overall five seasons. Now, Netflix amped it up with the new installment subtitled Dinotrux Supercharged, which premiered on November 10, 2017 as season 1 with six brand new 24-minute episodes.
This series features hybrid dinosaur-construction vehicles called Dinotrux and hybrid reptile-tools called Reptools, which are set to build with and battle one another. Dinotrux is set in a fantastical world filled with lava-flowing volcanoes and lush forests, a world that is dominated by mechanical creatures like Tyrannosaurus Trux, Scraptors and Tow-a-constrictors. Here the biggest guy and the smallest creature can become friends and indeed they do just that – the show's heroes are Ty, a massive and fiercely loyal T-Trux with a big vision for a new world, and his best BFF Revvit, a Reptool who is the engineering brains of the operation. In the new version Dinotrux Supercharged, the crew around Ty and Revvit learn to harness the power of some Supercharger Bit Bugs. These give the gang some extra super strength, as well as speed and completely new look. But the battle for crater continues.
