Series 11 of Ghost Hunters is on today here in the UK. Showing all day as part of the Halloween schedule. So I wonder if they picked the show up.
As for SyFy I used to watch quite a lot on the channel but rarely do now. A Town Called Eureka was another favourite,just fun to watch. I read that was cancelled because the income from it wasn't enough,even though it was one of the most popular shows on SyFy.
Seems to me they need somebody in charge who actually knows what they are doing before it goes to hell in a hand basket

I got the impression that the show would be moving in some form to another network (like Destination America or something). Just guessing here, Syfy was probably like "Your show has matured, ratings are a bit soft, so we are paying you less" -and so the team said goodbye. We will see. I'd expect an announcement as soon as the season is finished.

I believe this is the biggest mistake this channel could have made. I have watched Ghost Hunters since 2004, and those other paranormal shows on sy-fi are redicoulous , could never measure up to Ghost Hunters-TAPS.

I could not have said it better myself S Sass. I mean, come on, this doesn't even make any sense.....if they are still getting great ratings after 10......now 11 years, why cancel it??? I mean doesn't Sci-Fyi know the saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!" Apparently not, but I mean dagnabit, somebody should clue them in on it lol. I, as well, will follow them. God willing, another Network will have the sense to pick it up. Sounds like Jason already "May" know something we don't, so here's to hoping & praying they come back somewhere. And sorry didn't mean to write a book, but I just can't BELIEVE they are letting this show go!!!
