Department Q follows DCI Carl Morck, a brilliant but abrasive detective, as he's exiled to a cold case department in Edinburgh after a tragic accident. Initially relegated to the basement and tasked with handling seemingly impossible cases, Morck and his unconventional team, including a therapist and other misfits, find themselves drawn into a world of unsolved mysteries, challenging their perceptions and reawakening Morck's detective instincts. The series is based on the novels of the same name by Danish author Jussi Adler-Olsen.
